Barbara Bui, have you ever heard of her name? Maybe, maybe not. I just love her as much as I love Givenchy, Kenzo, Balmain and Balenciaga, fashion designers who have their own high fashion signature styles that once you look at their collections, it stays in your mind, for a while, or forever. Most importantly, their designs are unique yet young, some are simple yet effortless elegant, and I'm young, so of course beside the timeless elegance of Chanel or the luxury handmade of Hermes, I would die for studs, chains, arty prints, unique cut and those kind of detailing things. Nowadays you might hear some people said that Chanel's shiny jacket looks so cheap or you might saw some comments on Youtube saying that the collection is stunning, those models are perfect, but it's just not Christian Dior, trust me, Kenzo, Givenchy and some designers I have listed above, are those who never disappoint me. It's signature, it's bold and unique, it's not blending into anything.
Born in Paris, her father is Vietnamese and mother is French, Barbara Bui entered the world of fashion in 1983 when she opened her studio boutique on rue de Turbigo, Paris.
