Delfina Balda Spring/Summer 2014 collection is one of my favourite this season. This is the time for christmas, for winter, for trench coat, for red color, I know, but fashion world spins around fast and all the Spring/Summer 2014 collections are ready for your summer holiday trip next year (but of course they are not yet to be selling now). So, forget about christmas for a moment and imagine about your summer party with sunshine, bright colors, prints, flowers, bikinis and so many more. The collection captures the femininity of Mediterranean girls. I personally feel that the meaning of this collection is all about a young girl who is not yet a woman, there is still something very pure and innocent yet feminine inside her, a beautiful flower in the tropical garden, under the sunlight. Most of the garments are loose-fitting which definitely will make you feel very comfortable when wearing. Main materials for this collection are sheer, linen, cotton, mesh, satin and kind of light-weight fabrics is all I can tell by looking at photos from the lookbook. Balda, the designer herself is from Buenos Aires, the city with Mediterranean climate, whom I think have transported all the colors and textures from her island into this collection. It's time to show you this adorable lookbook, hope you can feel the model and the sense of Mediterranean in this collection. Enjoy!
