Fall 2013, White after Labour Day

Some of you for sure have never heard about the rule "no white after Labour Day", haven't you? So today you will get to know. It was actually an America's rule in the history which a punishment for breaking it in the 1994 movie, Serial Mom, Patty Hearst's character was murdered by a punctilious psychopath. And that rule has became mainstream in America. What a dumb rule! (just saying). French fashion designer, the iconic Coco Chanel famously scoffed at "no white after Labour Day" by wearing white year-around, whenever she wanted. That meant: fashion rules were created to be broken. And because white is high fashion so let's wear all white after Labour Day. I'm making 2 sets of outfit today, all in white, of course, but one gonna be a high fashion set and the other one gonna be an affordable set. Christmas is coming to town, that means the Great Singapore Sales is coming soon, and that means reductions is everywhere from fast fashion to high street and luxury brands. I'm thinking of doing a series about budget shopping guide, like I have a budget of 150 SGD for example, I'm going shopping and find best items at best prices and update to you guys, of course not Bugis Street or Haji Lane shopping kind of thing, at least all the items will be selected from Forever 21 or H&M.
